I'm a miniature painter based in London. I paint commission pieces for collectors and gamers
I got into the hobby through Warhammer as a teenager, drifted away, and came back to it properly in my late twenties. This time around, the painting is the point. I find the process absorbing in a way that very little else manages — the slow, deliberate work of building up colour and contrast on something you can hold in your hand.
Strike Sure Miniatures is what happened when friends started asking if I'd paint their models too.
Approach
Quality over speed
I don't batch-paint or rush work out. Each commission gets the time it needs. I'd rather take a few extra days and be proud of the result than hit an arbitrary deadline with work I'm not happy with.
Clear communication
You'll get regular progress photos and honest timelines. If something isn't working, I'll tell you early rather than deliver a surprise. Commissions work best when both sides are on the same page from the start.
Always Learning
I attend workshops, study other painters' work, and experiment with new techniques between commissions. The blog is where I share what I'm learning — partly for others, partly to solidify it for myself.
